Jakeia Banks

Jakeia C. Banks is incredibly excited to be an intern for her senior year as well as acting as the SWC’s first ever Enrichment and Engagement supervisor. Jakeia is an avid writer and loves collaborating with others on creating art. Outside of the SWC, she is the head of Shaker Heights High School’s NAACP chapter Arts & Entertainment committee, a SGORR leader, a part of student council, a Take Action member and a lover of SHHS’s theatre department and Sankofa festival. Jakeia is thrilled to have the opportunity to expand the SWC’s reach, meet new people and make some great writing in the meantime! You can see Jakeia as an intern at 3rd period (room 228) and Tuesday’s Flex Block 1 for the 1st quarter.
